"OiseauxMix invites visitors to create mutant birds from the futur

The year is 2164 and all the birds displayed in the windows have disappeared from the planet. Fortunately, the Museum kept samples of its most beautiful species. The visitor then becomes a scientist responsible for collecting DNA samples in order to compose his own specimen and exhibit it in our virtual museum.

Through a playfull journey, OiseauxMix wants to lead the visitor to explore the gallery of birds and wonder about their morphology, the size of the beak, the length of the feathers and even the shape of the legs."

A prototype created as part of Muséomix, a three-day creative marathon at the Natural History Museum of Nantes.
